BIDV loans to banknote printer
HA NOI — The Bank of Investment and Development of Viet Nam (BIDV) has extended credit and guarantees worth VND400 billion (US$20 million) to the National Banknote Printing Plant under an agreement signed on Monday.
The agreement would also help create favourable conditions for the plant to effectively use non-credit services, including international payment services, opening a letter of credit, foreign exchange services and insurance, said Nguyen Van Mui, director of BIDV's Thang Long branch.
VIB extends credit to power company
HA NOI — Viet Nam International Bank (VIB) signed a comprehensive co-operative agreement with the Northern Power Corporation (NPC) on Tuesday, under which VIB will provide long-, medium and short-term financing at preferential terms and international payment services, as well as cash flow management between NPC and the provincial power companies.
Intimex opens second Nghe An store
VINH — Intimex opened its new office and supermarket building on Le Nin Highway in Vinh City, central Nghe An Province on Monday.
The five-storey building was constructed at a cost of VND20 billion (US$1 million) and becomes Intimex's second supermarket in Nghe An and its 15th nationwide.
